A great album indeed. If you have the means to play it, I would unreservedly recommend the SACD release on Dutton Vocalion - it’s a recreation of the rare quad mix that was released in the 70s.

The latter being a box set of their four studio albums -“Open”, “Definitely What!”, “Streetnoise” & “Befour”, two of which have Julie Driscoll (Tippett) singing, but which, however, did not include their ‘finest hour’…namely “This Wheel’s On Fire”. So yooo’ll have to get that from Yootoob!

Lovely CDs there @suzywong, and it has reminded me that I must try and replace my long lost Bryan Auger and Julie Driscoll.
Buoyed by my TFF purchase (see above), I’m now the happy owner of an extended edition of a-Ha’s debut album; again, courtesy of Discogs:
The bonus tracks are a fascinating insight into their early days of poverty in London, trying to get their break.

Hi @johnt. Is this the recently released reissue you’ve got? Is it packed like a mini lp with an inside sleeve? I was wondering whether to get this myself.

Yes it is, though I haven’t listened to it yet, so I can’t comment if it’s any different to my original Taxi cd.

Enjoy! I always thought it was a great album, considering it was supposedly a stop gap completed pretty quickly. Interested if your new cd is any different to the reissues from around 1998 and how the rest of the packaging looks!
Just ordered these two, in part inspired by a mojo article on overlooked albums from 1972. Listening to both on tidal today got me straight into a buying mood. Looking forward to both! Cymande and Milton Nascimento.
