What was the last CD you bought

Nice haul there, I’m a big fan.

Call me crazy, but I feel I don’t properly “own” the music and show my appreciation (i want to be a groupie) if I did not support the artist and bought the CD. Having said that, many CDs before 2000 are unlistenable, they have learned to mix and/or remaster since then using full dynamic available. Those Cds still work fine in the car or via Bluetooth in the garden tho.

You don’t own the music even when you buy a CD.

Been looking forward to this one for a while. Arrived yesterday. 6 CD box set and booklet. On-U Sound House Band guarantees excellent music and production. Box Sets like this are one of the reasons CD is such a great medium. Ripped to the Core and I’m ready to go (once all our Easter guests return home).

New limited 2CD release from La-La Land Records of the complete Top Gun soundtrack - songs, underscore, early demos etc.

It’s a blast. Particularly good to have Radar Radio on CD for the first time - it’s heard briefly in the film and was the B-side to Take My Breath Away.

Oh my, Miss Mike is so going to want this, along with Maverick….

Excellent, though be warned not only that the CD isn’t cheap (it’s a limited release from a tiny specialist label) but postage to the UK is pretty horrific too. There are ways to reduce it if you’re prepared to be inventive…

Prompted by @Steve_S, downloaded Messages and remembered what a fine prog band Pallas are.

Added these three to the collecction

Are these new releases? Loved them, but lost track with their recent stuff.
