Danny and the Champion of the World, “You are not a stranger here”.

Saw them play some of it live at Gosforth Civic Saturday, fantastic musicianship and they and Danny’s songwriting just come across as so authentic.

I first saw Mr Gregson when he was Any Trouble. much enjoyed and much missed.

This Evidence 2CD set of ‘Cymbals’ and ‘Crystal Spears’ has eluded me for decades but have just come across what looks to be an OK copy so ordered. I tend to go for Ra on CD instead of vinyl in most cases.
