What was the last CD you bought

Ha! @patk that is coincidence as I returned home to Hythe today. Sadly I had to leave Raleigh last night and would have loved to have seen Tedeschi Trucks supported by Little Feat at the Red Hat Amphitheater.

@Cat7 another nice haul from the shop that keeps giving.

Very different style than Sakamoto playing. Van Veen elaborates a lot more with a slower pace and liberal use of pedals. Plus Much more atmospheric than Sakamoto’s dry studio solo piano recordings.
Incidentally I am going to attend Sakamoto’s 1996 live at Concertgebouw next year. Sakamoto is dead now but someone is trying to recreate my fave chamber set 1996 live. :+1: this ought to be interesting!

Charity shop hopping yesterday. Taylor Swift CD has seen better days, and the Mumford box must have been stood on, a few times

Saw the recently released Indiscreet/Big Beat combo, felt inspired to add 3 more from the magnificent Sparks.

I’ve added these Herb albums to my collection. Pure nostalgia for me because we listened to them endlessly when we were kids. A bit cheesy, but so much fun!
