Although I’m more a vinyl buyer I like to expand my CD collection as well and enjoy my CD5 XS 
. Recently I dicovered the “5 Original Albums” series by Blue Note, Verve and Prestige. Lots of nice CDs for very little money!

Really good @haydj – Kid A is an album that lends itself to an acoustic “jazz reimagining” – I would recommend it.

Either/Or - by Elliott Smith.
I took a punt on this after reading that Ben Folds’ song “Late” was written about him. I’m glad I did - he was obviously very talented (and apparently troubled). An interesting character who came to a tragic end.
