What Was The Last Vinyl You Bought?

:face_with_hand_over_mouth: the pains of not being native English I guess… We say that by making such naive mistakes one extend the life of the subject… Long live the Modfather

I have a few Drive by Truckers but this sounds sublime on Vinyl. Very easy listening and superbly recorded with care and attention to the Vinyl.

Yeah I’ve had a bit of a spree last few days. Was staying in Cheltenham and went to a fabulous 2nd hand shop. Picked up the following.
Dada - Original UK Pressing
Made in Sweden - Mad River n
CCS
Crowfoot - Find The Sun
Ars Nova
Stray - Houdini.

Then went to RSD drop2 this morning picked up
Lou Reed,CSNY,Bill Fay & Miles Davis.
While I was there popped into a second hand store and found Steamhammer - MK 2 & Vinegar Joe
Six Star General both original U.K. pressings in very nice condition.

Very Happy.

Received this today, modern jazz : britain , its been through the RCM having a play while keeping out of the sun.
It’s flat, silent between tracks, no pops or clicks at all, it sounds great.

Yes, sonics on this 2LP set are excellent. Never heard ‘Windmill Tilter’ sound so good.

Whet my appetite…how is Bobbie with jazz leanings, Kev? I’m deliberately not taking sneak listens, but a written taster is allowed!

She’s as good with supper club jazz as she is with anything else Steve. Just brilliant.

Also bought these but were ‘confiscated’ by my better half to add to my birthday (a big one!) in about 10 days time! :frowning:

An RSD Drop 2 buy. No-one round me stocked it so had to wait for 6pm for an on-line order from those lovely Sounds of the Universe folk. Used to work on Wardour St so lunchtimes were expensive!
