Your Most Interesting Live Album

In front of an invited studio audience Waits entertains us with spoken words and wonderful music really well recorded. The idea, I think, is to create a small club atmosphere and Waits, inevitably pulls it off. Just another essential Waits album. Genius at work. Qobuz stream just now.
Glitter and Doom is also amazing live Waits.

Since I like punk music, I have to recommend this live: raw, presence and full of energy :innocent:

CD1 has 17 and CD2 24 tracks. It’s regular issue, no SHM or something special. jpc.de sells it for €16,99

This has always been a very special album to me, far greater than any of their studio albums and even the “weak” singles come alive on this gem.

The box set includes their gig at Leicester De Montford which was one of the gigs I saw them play live. Great memories.

Just seen the box set of 16 CDs on Amazon for £105… ouch…

Or CD download on Qobuz at £5.99

I believe I paid £99 which I felt happy to pay although it is expensive!

That is surely for one album, not the full set of concerts around the UK?

No “Crying to the Sky”??

Such a brilliant song imho.
