Your Watch & Naim

It is a reasonably chunky sports watch, I find it comfortable - doesn’t feel too heavy on the wrist…not a fan of big watches. This is prob as large as I would go…a very nice watch IMHO

I also fancy an Orange dial version…

Or here’s the U1 on a slightly larger wrist.

You see the adverts and the manufacturers’ websites with impossibly beautiful people wearing the watches, but in the real world they can be dead useful for timing the cooking. In this case the coriander and chilli needs frying for two minutes.

Yeah, nice photo. But just ask Alexa to set the timer for two minutes.

I’ve never used Alexa and don’t intend to.

Love green face watches. Here is mine. The new green Omega Seamaster 300 is also very high on the wish list.

Might have to repost my seiko sarb017 Alpinist then!

This one could easily fit in the Growing Old thread.

However, an excellent decision that I fully agree with.

Sorry, thread drift…

I like that. A lot. I’ve always rated Seiko. I’m on my 4th Rolex. I traded up each time and now have an Explorer ll model 16570 but I’ve never got rid of any Seikos. The Grand Seikos are probably better engineered than Rolex.

That’s my thought as a gift when I retire is a grand seiko…. Never seen one in the metal but the story behind them appeals

Some of the patterned dial ones are amazing. I’ve looked at a few in my local dealer
