They are made of steel and the have a chronograph. But the similarities end there.
Different case, bracelet, dial, Seiko have date, different subdials, everything.

That must be very rare. Pre-war?

Understated … yes, for a Rolex, however no modern Rolex is really understated .. or that’s my issue anyway

Hi I believe Mark worked with Sir Jony Ive on the apple watch design and brought his strap design with him. They have both also recently worked together on the new Ferrari Luce EV.

I can’t help but think they should have stuck to watches, phones and computers!

Not so much Compare and Contrast as Spot the Difference!

As a regular Speedmaster wearer, I’m happy to accept that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I believe mine is from 1950. Ch27 was made from 1941/42 and has been used by Patek, VC, and AP. Omega used it for the Moonwatch.

Just succumbed to temptation and bought my 2nd Detrash watch, this one’s a limited edition called “Sunny Daze”…ok, I admit it’s a bit of a naff name, but a lovely looking watch and what I like about Detrash watches is that they use mainly recycled materials and donate a portion of the proceeds to charity (my other Detrash watch is an Au-Cean)

That’s a stock picture BTW…not my wrist

My pension and lump sums are due this month. If, and it’s a big if, I were to choose a white face to alternate with my IWC, it would be this:

Great choice and so much more refined than the IWC. Suits you, sir!

If the wait times are long, funds are tight or you can do without the date & branding..

Thanks. It’s the real thing or nothing for me I’m afraid.

The gorgeous proportions of bezel to face on the Patek…
