details are on the Naim website - email is support@naimaudio.com
I received an update on 2/8 for Mu-So Gen 1 app 7.3, Streamer version 2.1.10. Is this the Feb 14th update? if so, this version is very buggy and slow. The IRadio page fails to load every other time you use it and if you do 3-4 commands in a row, the entire app locks up and needs to be rebooted. Will there be a mechanism for storing radio stations that don’t appear in the new lists. Specifically the Jazz Groove station appear in their own list but are Naim “Promo” stations. What does this mean compared to what I am used to as East and West Stations. - Thanks
I did the update 4x on my Uniti 1. Still no iRadio stations. I give up for now. Wait for the Holy Grail …
Regards Gerard
Take a look at what @Stevesky posts on this thread - it should be useful.
Gerard, in your position I would get in touch with Naim support.
Hi @cdgulley … yes this is the 14th Feb release (1 week early !!! )
I also find it buggy, similar but maybe not as bad as your description.
I’m in the beta test group and have reported it.
Where and how can I find this firmware. NAIM website is providing only a 4.6 version of the firmware ?
Thank you for help

Is there any update about the problem me and other has with the update?
Hey you contacted Naim support? I would do that if you haven’t already.
I did, and this is the response I’ve got (translated with google translate);
Dear Gerard,
Due to hardware limitations of your first generation NaimUniti, it unfortunately cannot use the new radio service. Due to the same limitation, your device cannot play Spotify or TIDAL.
If desired, De Audiowinkel can advise you on a replacement modern device.
Kind regards

Check this to make sure;
You don’t need to replace it, you can add a “bridge” device to give you tidal, qobuz, and probably more than any Naim device today eg deezer. There are many such devices on the market eg wiim or lindemann limetree.
I’m guessing yours is an early one with the early streaming board? If so there’s no Tidal or Spotify support.
But even without the later streaming board, a Uniti 1 should still support the new internet radio service I believe.
I was not looking for Tidal or Spotify. I use my 1st gen Uniti mainly for internet radio. This seems to be impossible now. The advice is: “buy something new”. Not very customer friendly of Naim.
And btw vtuner is still available on another streamer that I have in my house.
So to me this somehow a problem caused by Naim……
Anyway, It has been great for the last 14 yrs.
Regards, Gerard
Naim says “no”
But what does the device itself say? What is the BC SW version? I don’t think efacs records to the level of streaming board if you look up the serial number.
