Muso/internet radio problems

Is anyone having problems with internet radio? Mine has completely stopped working and doesn’t even come up with any stations in the app anymore, just says no results under internet radio.

Firmware is upto date as is the app, I’ve tried hard resets, reinstalls everything! Has completely gone down. I have a mk1 Muso and am using the latest version of the app on an iPhone. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have deleted presets and updated firmware on my mu-so 2 but still can’t see any internet radio stations. Any ideas as to what to do next?

Try a hard power cycle - unplug from the mains and leave the Mu-So for a few minutes then plug in and re-start.

If you are still having issues then you could try a reset of the unit, otherwise contact Naim support on support@naimaudio.com

Thanks Richard but wasn’t necessary. Tried again when I got up this morning and the app is back to ‘normal’ so have reloaded presets and a happy bunny again.

Good morning,
How long can MU-soQB 1 update take?
I updated the application on my iPhone to version 7.3.0, deleted the saved radio stations and ran the update.
After approximately 5 minutes, the application reported that the software had been transferred to Mu-so and was now being used. There was also a button to return to the application, which I pressed.
Mu-so is not visible in the application.
Now, after about 1/2 hour, Mu-so is still not visible. There are still dashes floating around on the panel and the status light is blue indicating a software update.
How long will it take?
Should I take any action?

Close the Naim app on your control point and then leave the Qb for a period - others have reported an hour or two minimum. It is unlikely to be quick depending on a number of factors. There are a number of posts on other threads, worth a search.

Both my Mu-So Qbs updated in around 5-10 minutes max (didn’t close the Android app).

Once updated, updating the stored radio stations in the app worked smoothly with one of them and the other lagged a bit, but after that everything appears to be fine with both.

General observation - radio station names are truncated e.g. “Radio Paradise - Gl”, “Aplha Boys School R” etc.

I made the mistake of using my phone after initiating the update; don’t do this. After 2 hours (when in fact it had probably suspended 2 hours earlier) I followed this procedure:

If you are having an issue, try wired connection to router. If you are experiencing issues, then peps here may be able to get some thoughts. Posting details rather than it “doesn’t work” or “will this ever be fixed” would be useful.
Appreciate the frustration, but many of us with legacy units, have successfully updated without issue. Worth going back through every step, ensuring it is done as per instructions.

If you are posting this remark with zero knowledge about the muso firmware 2.1.10 update, then it’s already been fixed.

If you have attempted to update the firmware and are having issues, please specify what those are.
