Strange happenings here - Jazz fm has gone from my Naim MuSo but still shows on the app, however it’s still playing on the AVM player (using their own X-Stream engine, accessed from the remote).
Don’t know why Bauer would favour one streaming aggregator over another? Unless it’s only a matter of time …
In the meantime still enjoying Jazz de Ville and Radio Paradise.
And a new blues station added to favourites - Gaslight Square Blues.
I think so otherwise what would be the point.
I know GHR and Absolute 00s were still working. And people have found some working alternates for the Bauer stations.
But probably it’s only a matter of time.
Curiouser and curiouser …
I’ve been dipping in and out on both players throughout the day just to confirm;
on Naim - no stations at all. Jazz fm, Scala, Absolute, Smooth and Planet Rock all gone.
However on the AVM all the above still there and playing!
So it does appear to be a hierarchy on the streaming system used. Seems a strange way to prioritise?
Shame, by alienating the local UK audience and with the plethora of good alternatives we all agree on, they are clearly cutting off their nose to spite their face.
Jazz de Ville and Gaslight Square Blues are both new to me so now streaming them and enjoying.
See Gaslight Square has 10 or more stations - pop, rock, jazz, chill, etc. as well as blues.
Will have to check them out.

Just love internet radio … on any given day I can find pretty much anything to suit my musical mood and it’s all free. So much variety.

Radio Diria (Costa Rica) - AAC, 46 kbps . Latin pop. (My son’s fiancee’s father lives in CR and they listen to this when they visit)

The classical station now in flac so updated my URL.
The go-to Jazz Groove channels are making some changes for non-donors - “we’ve made the decision to begin capping the amount of time many non-donors can listen for free.”.
The URLs are likely to change for The Jazz Groove Mix#1 and Mix#2. You may already be encountering some issues of taking a long while to play or not playing at all. Awaiting more info.
Update: Seems to be working OK again. Hope there are no detrimental future changes.

This is actually the salsa station I listen to most, slightly better sq and more varied ;
Currently listening to Cesky rozhlas jazz - wow, great sq! On the main system it’s almost CD quality. Great instrument texture and separation. Love the choice of music too, more contemporary but very classy.

All six channels SuperStereo 1-6 are now broadcasting in hi-res 24/96 flac.
(they even have a test channel in 24/192 flac !).
The SuperStereo 1 24/192 test channel is reporting as 16/192 (not 24/192) but is playing perfectly for over an hour with metadata.
Anyone got them on vTuner in hi-res flac ?
